"Perfect Fit!" Alterations Class *Knitwear Focus*

Prerequisite: Serger Workshop: Mastering Serger Basics or equivalent serger experience
Learn to confidently alter knit garments while gaining hands-on practice using a serger. In this 3-session course, you’ll bring your own knitwear pieces to adjust, with guidance provided at each step. Whether you’re taking in seams, shortening hems, or refining fit, you’ll leave with the skills to handle everyday alterations with professional finishes.
Guest Instructor: Sarah Martin
Sarah Martin is a theatrical costume designer and sewing technician based in Kansas City. She holds a BFA in Theatrical Costume Design from Stephens College, specializing in historical fashion, pattern-making, and draping. With extensive experience in bridal alterations, specialty fabrics, and serger techniques, Sarah brings her expertise and enthusiasm for teaching to this workshop.
