English Paper Piecing (EPP)

English Paper Piecing is a beautiful, precise, and traditional method of creating quilt blocks using paper templates and hand-sewing techniques. 

Learn the art of English Paper Piecing in this hands-on class. Your instructor will demonstrate two methods for basting EPP papers and show you how to join the basted pieces together. This portable, relaxing technique is perfect for travel or while waiting at appointments.

Students will have the opportunity to complete one flower motif—ideal for appliquéing onto clothing—or may then create several pieces to incorporate into a quilted project. This is a hand-piecing class only; no sewing machine required.
