Introduction to Garments: Elevating Your Sewing Skills to Garment Construction

In this course, we transition from Basic Sewing to the exciting realm of garment construction. You'll dive into understanding garment elements and construction, including patterns, various fabric and fiber types. Decode sewing terminology and enhance your skills by creating samples of facings, linings, curved seams, corners, darts, tucks, and gathers. Additionally, you'll master the correct method of garment cutting while creating a simple top. This class involves significant hands-on sewing and assigned sewing homework to ensure your proficiency.

All materials included with course - you can choose fabric for top from our stash or provide your own. More information will be given during course.
