Longarm Quilt Machine Operation Training covers instruction on operating either the Gammill Statler Stitcher or the Gammill Classic Stitch Regulated Free Motion machine. Successful completion of this course is a prerequisite for renting our machines.

During the training, you'll be instructed on the following:

• How to prepare your quilt
  
• Preparing the machine
  
• Loading your quilt
  
• Utilizing the Gammill Statler Stitcher CAD system
  
• Operating the Gammill Classic Stitch Regulated machine with manual control
  
• Unloading your quilt
  
• Tips, tricks, and valuable recommendations

Items to bring to the training:

• A face mask if you prefer to wear one
  
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn, including making mistakes as part of the learning process
  
• Optional: Snacks if desired

You'll practice on provided fabric, but feel free to bring a quilt for discussion, although it may or may not be used for instructional purposes.
